Author Presentation: The Lie That Kills Us: We All Have Elephants

Drawing on forty years of recovery experience and theological insight, Pastor Ed Treat's new book addresses the denial that keeps individuals, faith communities, and society stuck in self-destructive behavior. Weaving together twelve-step wisdom, trauma, neuroscience, and Christian faith, the book shows how faith and honest truth-telling leads to spiritual freedom and healing.

If you want to purchase the book prior to the gathering, it is available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and IngramSpark. Books will also be available for purchase at the event.

For those interested in further exploration, a book study will begin Thursday, October 8, 6:30pm at Memorial Lutheran Church.

Cost: Free to attend
